A Skill Development program on “Automation in Industries”

A Skill Development program on “Automation in Industries” for all the teaching staff of EEE, ANITS was organized at the Institute by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. All the faculty of EEE Dept. has participated in this program.. Resource Person Mr. D. Gayathri Pavan, Sr.Manager (E), RINL, VSKP shared the information regarding automation systems process, sequence of many operations and also importance of automation in the steel industry. And also he explained information about the plant condition which helps in planning and preparing the maintenance and repair of the plant and equipment.

Two days Work Shop On “Inter-Personal Skills and Effective Communications”

A Two day’s Work shop on “Inter-Personal Skills and Effective Communication” for the non-teaching staff, ANITS was organized at the Institute by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Non teaching staff of various departments is participated in this program. Prof. G. Raja Rao, HOD of EEE department had presided over the program. During the first session of the work shop, Dr. P.Prasanna Kumari made a presentation on communication course for the work place to learn the skills, techniques and communication strategies essential for communicating more effectively in the work place, while developing potential for professional success. In the second session, presentation on understand the importance of effective inter-personal skills and work place communication.

Guest Lecture on “Advancement in inverter technology in Industrial Applications”

A guest lecture on “Advancement in inverter technology in Industrial Applications” was organized at the Institute by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering under the Association of AEEEA for the third and final year students. Prof. G. Raja Rao, HOD of EEE department had presided over the program. K Vagadevi , III/IV-EEE Section B, welcomed the participants and Resource Person Mr. D. Ravendra , CTO, Zunik Energies Pvt Ltd. He shared the information regarding how the various inverter technologies are used in the industries to convert dc to ac and to use the required voltage levels for various industrial applications. Participants gave their feedback explaining how the program helped them to improve industrial knowledge in a better way. Tulasi Ram III/IV EEE B Presented the Vote of thanks.

5-day FDP on “Control Aspects of Industrial Electrical Systems.”

Department has organized a 5-day FDP on “Control Aspects of Industrial Electrical Systems.” The aim of the FDP is to provide the present challenges in various industrial control aspects in thermal, hydro power plants, steel and oil industry. Also, it covers electrical vehicle control technologies. The program aims to enhance the knowledge of the faculty community towards the operational, planning and protection aspects of industrial electrical systems. Around 65 faculties has participated in the program. In this 35 faculty members are in and around the Visakhapatnam.

Online 3 Day Workshop on "Schematics of Circuit Breakers, Selection of Relays, Lighting Discharge with DIALUX"

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Anil Neerukonda Institute Of Technology & Sciences (ANITS), Visakhapatnam in association with Hyderabad Institute of Electicrical Engineers, Hyderabad has organized Online 3 DayWorkshop on " Schematics of Circuit Breakers, Selection of Relays, Lighting Discharge with DIALUX on 12th to 14th August, 2020.Total of 275 students have participated in the program. Resource person from the institution has given an overlook how circuit breaker and relays are arranged in the solar power plant in solar power plant and also gave an virtualtour on solar power plant on the last day.
